Global Belief Project

Jake and I founded Global Belief Project with the simple mission to share the truth and love of Jesus through clean water and education.

Jake had worked in the water sanitation field of California for six years before God asked him to use his skills and gifts to glorify Him full time in Uganda. When we felt the call to bring clean water to Uganda we assumed we would do this through installing wells, but very early on into our African journey we became aware of the desperate need to restore wells rather than install wells.

Throughout the continent of Africa up to 60% of all wells are currently broken due to lack of maintenance and sustainability planning. This statistic is much higher in the specific region which we've been called to serve. For two years our family and team of Ugandan nationals has restored a well in different village every week followed by a community outreach. We refer to these outreaches as our loaves and fishes ministry, where use well restoration to bring redemption, physical healing for spiritual healing, life water for Living Water, and helps ministry to help us minister to hearts.

Through these weekly community outreaches we became involved with various families who's needs exceeds those of their village. We personally walked with families suffering through heartbreaking situations and became so entangled in so many people's lives and stories that we needed to establish an effective ministry based on the needs that we encountered. And thus, our scholarship program was born.

We designed this discipleship based scholarship program to meet the needs of our people who had been put in our path to advocate for, care for, and disciple. This program provides every sponsored child with education, covering 100% of school, book, and uniform fees, covers medical fees, and the entire families with spiritual counsel from an assigned mentor.

In addition to our near 100 restored wells over the last three years, our 43 sponsored children,  weekly community outreaches, homeschool, and life, Jake leads two bible studies a week with the Global Belief guys, and I lead a mid-week women's study with friends.

Our ministry is not at all what we though it would be, but as the things of God always are: It's always better than what we would have planned.
